ANANTNAG: Family of four-year-old Ayan Shah, who is missing from Pehru village of Anantnag, has announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for anyone who provides any information about the kid. Ayan disappeared mysteriously from Pehru on Tuesday, March 22, when he was playing outside the house of his relatives in the village.
Though police has launched a manhunt to trace the missing boy but it has found no clues so far. Police used divers to search for the boy in local stream and also pressed sniffer dogs into service to trace him following massive protests and shutdown in the area. Police too has announced a reward for any information about the missing kid. As police has failed to trace the missing boy, the family has announced a reward of one lakh rupees for any information regarding him.
“Whosoever provides information about our child will be given one lakh rupees as a reward and his identity will not be disclosed,” Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, maternal uncle of the missing boy told Kashmir Reader. He said that informer can contact the family on 9596535149, 9797777978.
Bhat expressed satisfaction with the police investigation and efforts made by it for tracing out the toddler. “Police is seriously investigating the case. Many top police officials involved in the investigation are making tireless efforts to trace the child,” he said.
Ayan’s mother, Sami Jan too has offered all her jewellery for any information about her missing son.
“My groom is alive. He will return. I will offer all my jewellery for the homecoming of my groom,” Sami had told Kashmir Reader on Thursday at her parental home in Aishmuqam.
