SRINAGAR: Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, visited ailing Syed Ali Geelani in New Delhi on Friday.
A spokesman of the conglomerate, in a statement issued here, said both the leaders discussed Kashmir’s political situation and the ongoing resistance movement.
“Mirwaiz enquired about Geelani’s health and also expressed satisfaction over improving health of the veteran resistance leader,” he said.
Meanwhile, the spokesman expressed concern over the disappearance of a child from south Kashmir’s Anantnag district. He urged the district administration to help to trace the missing child. He also expressed sympathy with the family.
