Kangan: 2 houses damaged due to landslides

Kangan: Incessant rains in Kashmir triggered landslides in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal in Kangan area where at least two residential houses were damaged and five other received cracks.
10 families hit by landslides were shifted to safer places on Saturday morning, officials said.
They said a massive landslide occurred in Wani-arm wangath village area of Kangan, damaging two residential houses. But the inmates were evacuated by locals and were shifted to safer places.
SDM Kangan, Gulam Ahmad told Kashmir Reader that we have deputed a team of revenue officials to the area to ascertain the damage caused to residential houses.
The damaged houses were belong to Mohammed Qasim Paswal and Mohammed Abdullah Paswal, Officials said.
