SRINAGAR: All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) on Saturday asked government to nab the culprits of Chattisinghpora massacre of 2000 that witnessed killing of 35 men, all Sikhs.
In a statement issued here, APSCC said despite passing of 16 years, the people of Jammu and Kashmir especially the Sikhs continue to wait for justice into the Chattisinghpora massacre.
“Though Indian government blamed militants for carrying out the massacre and claimed of killing at 5 persons in this regard but it has failed to present hard evidence,” the committee said.
APSCC said, “We demand whether the men killed on that day were actually involved in the massacre or not? We urge the state and central governments to go for fresh probe in the killings. If they failed to do so, we will consider it as a huge injustice with the Sikhs of Kashmir.”
