Srinagar: Bajaj Auto, the world’s largest manufacturer of three-wheelers, on Wednesday announced the launch of “Maxima-C” cargo vehicle.
Bajaj Auto’s R&D team has created this unique product to deliver the highest power and lowest operating costs in the commercial 3-wheeler category, said the company’s spokesman in a statement.
Maxima-C offers best in power which is 23% more than other vehicles and best in class torque which is 12% more than other vehicles. “It has a robust solid construction; its dry clutch technology gives clutch the 3 times life against nearest competitor. Its CV shaft gives life more than 1 lakh km which is an industry benchmark,” the statement added.
The Maxima-C is specially conceived and developed for cargo movement inside cities and towns, said the statement. “It has twin front suspension and a spacious cabin for comfortable long hours of drive, has high torque for quick pick-up even with heavy loads and has ease of frequent and quick start-stop cycles, making it the best suited vehicle for in-city operations”.
The statement quoted spokesman of the Paris Automobiles: “With the launch of Maxima-C, we would not only match but exceed the needs of those customers, who rely on in-city transportation as a major need for their last leg distribution to retailers and end users.”
