Pakistan is physically, mentally prepared to play WT20 in India: Afridi

Srinagar: Pakistan cricket team captain, Shahid Afridi in a press conference in Kolkata on Sunday said the Pakistani cricket team was physically and mentally prepared to play in India regardless of delay in arrival of the team, reported ANI.
“I have enjoyed cricket in few countries as much as I have enjoyed it in India,” Afridi said, adding that he will always remember the love Indians give to the Pakistani team.
The Pakistan team arrived in Kolkata on Sat¬urday evening amid tight sec¬¬urity to take part in the World Twenty20 championship, ending days of uncertainty over their participation in the tournament due to security concerns.
“International cricket is all about pressure. The team that handles pressure the best wins,” he said.
He also praised Indian cricket, saying that Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh played well in the last Asia Cup game against Pakistan.
Pakistan will be facing off against India in one of the most awaited games of the tournament at the Eden Gardens on March 19. The 27-member squad consists of 15 players and 12 officials.
