EVMs to be used in municipal polls

SRINAGAR: The State Administrative Council (SAC) on Friday sanctioned the enactment of the Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Act, 2016.
An official handout issued here said the SAC met in Jammu under the chairmanship of governor, N N Vohra.
In order to ensure “free and fair elections” and to usher a new phase of transparency, it was decided that the elections to the Urban Local Bodies in the state would be held by using Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) instead of ballot papers, the handout said.
It said the Housing and Urban Development department was to make the necessary amendments in the J&K Municipal Corporation Act and the J&K Municipal Corporation (Elections) Rules, 2003 and J&K Municipal Elections Rules, 2003 to facilitate the use of EVMs.
“This amendment in the Act and consequent amendments in Rules shall enable the use of EVMs in the elections to the Urban Local Bodies including the corporations of the state,” it said.

All this is just to strengthen the occupation of so-called ‘India’ as per the tactics dictated by the ISRAEL …!! Remember, such so-called EVMs are nothing more than an invention by the Jews of Zionist Israel (pioneers of this so-called ‘technology’) — and these hapless Kashmiris are going to be the latest victims of it!!
