Hizb pays tribute: Says informers will become ‘symbol of agony, humiliation’

SRINAGAR: Hizbul Mujahideen on Thursday paid a tribute to the two militants killed in a gunfight with the government forces in Pulwama on Wednesday.
In a statement issued to a local news agency KNS, Hizb chief, Syed Salahuddin, said: “Those who sell militants for Rs 7 or 12 lakh won’t be able to hide themselves for long and they will become a symbol of agony and humiliation.”
Salahuddin thanked the “freedom lovers” for playing a “vital” role in the ongoing movement.
Meanwhile, he appealed people to pray for the speedy recovery of Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani.
