Pulwama areas shut to mourn killing of Laskhar militants

Pulwama: A complete shutdown is being observed in parts of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday against the killing of two non-local militants believed to be Pakistani yesterday evening.
Shops and business establishments were shut while traffic was off the roads in the areas including Awantipora, Tral, Pampore, Kakapora and some adjoining areas of Pulwama district.Two militants were killed in a gunbattle that had raged between a group of militants and government forces in open fields near Wandakhpora village in southern Pulwama district on Wednesday.
