Train services resume in Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Train services in the Kashmir resumed this morning after remaining suspended on Saturday for security reasons following strike call by pro-freedom groups in protest against the arrest of JNU students and harassment of Kashmiris outside the state.
This was the fourth time that train services were suspended in the Kashmir during the past about three weeks.
A railway official said train services between Srinagar-Budgam and Baramulla in north Kashmir and Srinagar-Anantnag-Qazigund in south Kashmir and Banihal in Jammu region have been resumed.
