“The counter intelligence (CI) wing of Jammu and Kashmir police arrested Ashiq Khan from his house here last evening after a police team found uploading of ‘provocative material’ on social media sites including Facebook and Whatsapp by him.
We are also trying to ascertain whether he has links with any outfit across the border,” a police officer said here today.
However, family members of Khan claimed that he was innocent and had nothing to with Pakistan or any other militant outfit.

“He is innocent and has no connection with Pakistan or any militant outfit,” Khan’s mother Saleema Begum said.
