JKHPMC demands salary

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Horticulture Produce Marketing Corporation (JKHPMC) on Monday urged the government to release their long pending salaries at the earliest.
A JKHPMC deputation led by its general secretary Abdul Rahman Dar said the employees have not received their salaries from the past seven months.
“The employees are facing immense hardships as their salaries have not been released for the past seven months,” Dar said.
Dar said that the corporation has immense potential to generate revenues, but due to wrong management it has drowned, which has made its employees to suffer financially.
“Employees working in the corporation are finding it hard to feed their families in absence of their salaries. Our children are suffering as we are not able to pay tuition fee of them,” Dar added.
