Army confirms 3 militants killed, says ascertaining their identity

Pampore: The Army while confirming the killing of three militants has said that they are ascertaining the identity of slain militants killed in 3-day fierce battle in Pampore town of Pulwama.
Army GoC Victor forces, Major Gen Arvind Dutta said, “Three militants (were) killed and war-like store (was) recovered. The process of sanitising the building is on. All of them were foreign militants and may be affiliated with suicide squad.”
“Identity of militants is not yet known. To establish whether they were from suicide squad is difficult this time,” Dutta said, adding, “it was a successful operation.”
