Muslim Leaague pays tributes to slain LeT militant, others

SRINAGAR: Muslim League Jammu Kashmir on Friday paid rich tributes to LeT militant Aadil Ahmad Shergojri and slain students Danish Farooq and Shaista Hameed.
According to a statement issued here, party’s district president Pulwama, Abdul Rashid Dar on Friday addressed people at Jamia Masjid, Bandarpora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
“The freedom movement gets rejuvenated through such sacrifices and our resolve gets firm. These sacrifices won’t be let go waste at any cost. The way our brave-hearts are challenging the Indian oppression would be written in golden words in the history of Jammu and Kashmir,” they said.
Ganaie in his address said Indian media’s trial against the incarcerated Muslim League chairman Masarat Alam Bhat depicts the “frustration”. “Such measures don’t break the resolve of pro-freedom leaders. Masarat Alam is the leader whose role vis-à-vis freedom movement frustrated Indian government. So, he is made a victim of political vengeance,” Ganaie said.
