Life returns to normal in Kakapora, Pampore after four days of shutdown

Pampore: Life returned to normal in Kakapora and Pampore areas of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday after four days of shutdown against the killing of three persons, including two civilians, on Sunday.

An engineering student, Danish Farooq of Ratnipora and Shaista Hameed, who was pursuing MA in Urdu, were killed and 13 others suffered bullet or pellet injuries after the forces opened fire on hundreds of protesters in Lelhar village in the south Kashmir district.

All shops and business establishments reopened as per routine in all the markets while the traffic plied normally. The people were seen busy in buying essentials goods.
