Kashmir: Pulwama remains shut on fourth day against killings

Pulwama: For the fourth consecutive day, a complete shutdown is being observed in several parts of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday against the killing of three persons including two civilians and LeT militant on Sunday.
The two civilians Mir Asif Farooq alias Danish and Shaista Hamid were killed after government forces opened fire on people protesting during the encounter, in which a local LeT militant Adil Ahmad Wagay was killed.
People from different villages of the district continued to throng the houses of the slain militant and the two civilians to express sympathy with the families.
