SRINAGAR: Pro-freedom leaders expressed grief on Wednesday over the demise of Maqbool Bhat’s wife.
In a joint statement issued here, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (R) patron, Barrister Abdul Majid Trambu, and party chairman Farooq Ahmad Dar alias Bita Karate expressed grief over the demise.
They extended condolences to the bereaved family and paid for the departed soul.
The statement said JKLF (R) activists participated in a funeral prayers-in-absentia held for the deceased.
Chairman JKLF (H), Javaid Ahmad Mir, also expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Bhat’s wife.
He expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
Hurriyat Conference (M) also expressed grief and shock over the demise and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family. According to a statement issued here, Hurriyat (M) leaders also participated in the funeral prayers-in-absentia held for the deceased.
