SRINAGAR: Chairman National Front, Nayeem Ahmad Khan on Tuesday met Pakistan High Commission, Abdul Basit, in New Delhi and discussed various issues relating to Kashmir dispute with him, a party spokesman said in a statement issued here.
He said Khan thanked Pakistan government for continuous support to Kashmiris’ freedom struggle saying, “Pakistan is the only means through which Kashmiris reach to international brethren. So, Islamabad should increase its diplomatic efforts vis-à-vis Kashmir.”
Expressing satisfaction over Pakistan’s Kashmir policy, Nayeem hoped Pakistan will continue its political, diplomatic and moral support to people of Kashmir in their “just” struggle.
“Pak High Commissioner assured Nayeem Ahmad Khan that there was no change in Islamabad’s policy regarding Jammu Kashmir including Gilgit Baltistan,” the spokesman said.
