Srinagar: Veteran resistance leader Shabir Ahmad Shah said on Monday that now is the time to “show full-fledged resistance to the Indian occupation in order to prevent further loss of lives of our youths”, while appealing to Syed Ali Geelani and other pro-freedom leaders to devise a strategy to stop such killings.
“The unabated killings of our youths have converted the Valley into a slaughter house and to witness funerals on daily basis is painful. This is enough. The resistance leadership has to chalk out a full-fledged strategy in this regard even at the cost of their lives. After all, martyrdom is a blessing for everyone,” Shah said in a statement issued to press.
‘People will come on roads en masse…’
If the governor is here to kill us, then people will come en masse on roads and not fear death. These inquiries are a sham. We don’t believe in inquiries.

“The resistance leadership has to decide and act now at any cost as we can’t wait for another youth to fall to bullets. India is hell bent to cleanse our new generation through bullets,” he said.
He said the “Indian occupational forces, in their arrogance of the unbridled powers bestowed upon them by government are playing a game of blood here.”
Shah said that taking cover of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act, the “brutal forces cleansed a generation and the biggest joke is that they order enquiries after such deliberate killings”.
“Now time has come for people as well as pro-freedom leadership to launch a stiff resistance against the occupation,” he said.
The DFP chairman said he is extremely grieved at Pulwama killings saying, “Our hearts weep and blood boils”.
“What was the crime of innocent Danish and our daughter Shaista? Why were they robbed of their lives? I have no words to pay tributes to the people of Pulwama. “
“Because of the sacrifices of the mujahideen like Shaheed Aadil, we will see the dawn of freedom of our nation very soon, Insha Allah,” Shah said.
