Srinagar: Senior Hurriyat Conference (M) leader and Chairman JKLF (H), Javaid Ahmad Mir on Monday visited the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi where he talked about Indo-Pak halted dialogue process with the diplomats, a party statement issued here said.
According to statement, Mir also talked about the arrest of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students saying, “Indian government should not stop the voices of students just because they have a different point of view about Shaheed Muhammad Maqbool Bhat and Shaheed MuhammadAfzal Guru.”
“On one hand, India brags about being the world’s largest democracy but in reality, it does not accept and tolerate the differing ideology. This is intolerance,” he said.
Mir also paid tributes to Danish Farooq and Shaista Hameed, who were killed in firing by government forces in Pulwama on Sunday.
