Hafiz Saeed ridicules Rajnath’s JNU ‘Lashkar link’ statement, says this ‘is how Indian govt fools its own people’

Srinagar: Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) founder and Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Mohammad Saeed on Monday said linking him with JNU protests on Afzal Guru anniversary based on a “fake” twitter handle is a prime example of “how Indian government fools its own people”.

“It’s a fake account and and I am surprised how Home Minister linked me with the issue (JNU protests) and created an issue out of it. India is using propaganda and Home Minister is befooling his own people. I tell Indian leaders to change their behavior and accept the reality,” Saeed said in a video tweeted on JuD handle.

Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh had said the event organized on JNU campus had received “support” from Saeed prompting the Opposition to demand the evidence.
