Srinagar: Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said the protests at Jawaharlal Nehru University had the support of Lashkar-e-Toiba founder chief Hafiz Mohammad Saeed.
“It’s unfortunate that the JNU incident has been backed by Lashkar chief Hafiz Saeed. Nation must also accept the reality that incident that took place in JNU, has been supported by Hafiz Saeed. This is unfortunate,” Singh told reporters at New Delhi at a press conference.
According to him, anybody found guilty of anti-national activities in the university would not be spared.
