Police organises talent hunt programmes

Srinagar: As a part of “Choona Hai Aasmaan” talent hunt programme organised by JK police across the state, two events were held in Srinagar and Ganderbal on Wednesday.
In Srinagar, a singing competition was held in District Police Lines Srinagar in which singers from different parts of city participated.
Seniors police officers and officials of Srinagar district were present on the occasion.
The certificates and trophies were distributed among the winners of the competition by the chief guest of the occasion SP Headquarters Waseem Qadri.
Iqbal Gulzar bagged the first position, while Malik Waheed and Basit Mushtaq bagged second and third positions respectively.
Meanwhile, about 60 young artists performed in different programmes including singing, dancing held at Qamaria Model School in Ganderbal district.
SP Ganderbal Imtiyaz Ismayil Parray, ASP Ganderbal Shiv Deep Singh, DySP Hqrs Rasik Mir, DySP DAR Rajinder Singh Rahi, SHO Ganderbal Asif Iqbal and others were present on the occasion.
SP Ganderbal distributed trophies among the winners of the event. The participants who were selected in these events will be representing District Srinagar and Ganderbal in Range level competition.
