Pro-freedom leaders pay tributes to slain LeT militants

SRINAGAR: Pro-freedom camp on Friday paid tributes to three Lashkar-e-Toiba militants who were killed in a gunfight with government forces in north Kashmir’ Hajin area of Bandipora district on Thursday.
Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), in a statement issued here, paid tributes to slain militants and reiterated the pledge of continuing the freedom movement till it is taken to logical conclusion.
Muslim Deeni Mahaz (MDM) said these youth gave up the worldly luxuries “just to wage jihad for liberating the fellow Muslims of Kashmir”.
“They are our benefactors who laid down their lives for us. We can never repay them this favour,” a spokesperson of MDM said in a statement.
“From Shaheed Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan to these martyrs, the sacrifices are question marks on the faces of those people who consider India and Pakistan as similar occupiers for Kashmir. India has done massacres here while as Pakistani mujahedeen dropped their blood in every nook and corner of Kashmir,” the spokesperson said.
