Pak, OIC hold conference against Islamophobia at UN

NEW YORK: Pakistan and Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) jointly held a conference in the United Nations (UN) against the increasing Islamophobia in the world.
Expressing serious concerns over the increasing Islamophobic incidents in the West, Maleeha Lodhi, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador, called for unity among Muslims to stop the religious and ethnic discrimination.
Maleeha said, there is need to have a dialogue among leaders and among religious communities to end the rising tide of bias incident.
