KATHUA: A three week capacity building and skill development Entrepreneurship Development Training Programme (EDP) was organized by JKEDI at Kathua.
The programme has been organized for the educated unemployed youth from Kathua District in particular, which would help them to establish their employment generating ventures in different sectors like manufacturing, services, tourism and agriculture.
DDC Kathua appreciated the efforts of JKEDI in developing the skills of unemployed youth, providing financial assistance to them and creating avenues for self employment. He further said that through these programmes the unemployed youth will be benefitted at large.
About 103 candidates have been enrolled in this EDP.
Associate Project Manager, Abhilash Braroo, District Coordinator Hari Bhushan, Nodal Officer Aamir Shafiq were present on the occasion.
