KU to hold seminar on ‘Reshi-Sufi Traditions’

Srinagar: The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in collaboration with the Kashmir University’s Centre of Central Asian Studies (CCAS) and J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages is organising a three-day international-level seminar on ‘Reshi-Sufi Traditions’ on Sunday.
“Participants from the country and abroad will be deliberating on different dimensions of the theme ‘Reshi-Sufi traditions’, highlighting its strong influence on Kashmiri society through centuries,” Director CCAS, Prof G N Khaki said in a statement.
Governor, N N Vohra, is scheduled to inaugurate the event and deliver the keynote address while as C Rajasekhar, while Director General ICCR will be the guest of honour.
KU Vice-Chancellor Prof Khurshid Iqbal Andrabi will preside over the function.
