Jammu: The Reserve Bank of India will shortly issue Rs 10 denomination bank notes in the Mahatma Gandhi Series-2005, with inset letter P in both the numbering panels, an official said on Friday.
He said that the note will be bearing the signature of Dr. Raghuram G. Rajan, Governor, Reserve Bank of India. “The year of printing 2015 will appear on the reverse of the bank note.”
He said that the design of these bank notes will be similar in all respects to the Rs 10 bank notes in Mahatma Gandhi Series-2005 issued earlier.
“All the bank notes in the denomination of Rs 10 issued by the Bank in the past will continue to be legal tender.”
