SRINAGAR: Kashmir Institute of Excellence (KIE) on Friday said it has become the first institute in Kashmir Valley to launch an integrated course for classes 9 and 10.
In a press statement issued here, it said the course has been started to target the national competitive examinations under the slogan “Let’s Go National”.
Explaining the theme and mission of the initiative taken by KIE, Academic Head of the institute, Lateef Masoodi, said, “KIE has been helping students to get admissions in MBBS and engineering courses at the state level, but now we feel a need to take it to the another level by raising the competitive level of our students.”
The institute, he said, wants to make succeeding at the national level a routine process.
“It can only be achieved if our students have a strong foundation at 9th and 10th class level,” he said.
He said the course was unveiled in a function held at Parraypora here, in presence of leading educationists and teachers.
The chief guest on the occasion was Chairman SSM College and Trust GN Parray, while Director KIE, Kar Khursheed Aalam gave the vote of thanks.
