Srinagar: Kashmir University and Public Service Commission have postponed all exams scheduled to be held on Friday.
“All Kashmir University examinations scheduled to be held on October 23, 2015 (Friday) are postponed. Fresh dates for the deferred examinations shall be notified separately,” a spokesman of the Varsity said in a statement.
According to Controller of Examination, Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission the examination scheduled to be held on Friday has been postponed.
“The fresh dates in this regard shall be issued separately,” the official said.

This is for the second time this week that the Kashmir University has postponed examinations.
The University had postponed its exams on Monday after the death of Zahid Rasool Bhat who was attacked with a petrol bomb at Udhampur on October 9 by a Hindu mob.
Zahid had succumbed to injuries in Safdurjung hospital in New Delhi on Sunday following which pro-freedom groups had called for a strike.
