Woman among 2 injured in bear attacks in Tral

Pulwama: Two persons, including a woman, were injured on Tuesday after they were attacked by black bears in two separate incidents in Tral area of this south Kashmir district.
Saida Begum, wife of Gulam Mohammad Dar, was attacked and critically injured by a bear while she was working on her field in Pinglish village.
In Tral Bala, a farmer, Fida Hussain Bhat, also became the victim of a bear attack.
Both the injured were removed to sub-district hospital for treatment.
Block Medical Officer (BMO), Tral, Dr Shakeel Ahmad told Kashmir Reader that the woman was then referred to Bone and Joint Hospital, Srinagar, for treatment.
