CM hails Kashmir, Jammu chambers for ‘strong message’

Jammu: Chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed hailed the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Kashmir and Jammu divisions for “sending a strong message of unity in one voice to the fringe elements that were out to disturb peace and tranquility in the state”.
Speaking over the murderous assault on five Kashmiri Muslim truckers in Udhampur, the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry had blamed “Indian and stateagencies” for such acts and asked PDP-BJP coalition government to give ‘exemplary punishment’ to the accused.
JCCI president Rakesh Gupta had made the statement at a press conference which was also addressed by his counterpart, KCCI president Mushtaq Wani.
Gupta had said, “There are various secretive security funds meant for disrupting peace in Kashmir. Theseagencies don’t want peace and they are always trying to divide the state. We won’t allow it to happen and will fight it tooth and nail.”
