Shutdown in Valley against murderous assault on Kashmiri truckers

Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed on Monday in the Valley against the murderous assault on three Kashmiri truckers at Udhampur.

Shops, commercial establishments, educational institutions and petrol pumps are closed. The strike also affected public transport, reports said.

Many pro-freedom leaders including JKLF chief Mohammad Yasin Malik were put under house arrest last evening to thwart  any protest. The strike has been called by traders bodies and supported by pro-freedom groups.
