SKUAST-K scholar conferred Young Scientists award

Baramulla: Sajad-ul- Akbar Wani a Ph.D Scholar at the Centre for Mountain Wildlife Sciences SKUAST Kashmir has been conferred the ‘Young Scientists Award’ at recently concluded National Seminar on Social Issues and Environmental Problems held by Department of Zoology and Biotechnology Government Girls P.G. College, Ujjain MP.
Wani  who has been conferred with a  gold Medal for his Research paper titled ‘Pre and Post Flood Scenario of Status, Distribution and Breeding Behaviour of Water Birds in Chatlam-Manibug Wetland, Pampore, Jammu & Kashmir’.
Wani’s research focused on compare the impact of the floods in the status, distribution and breeding behavior of water birds in Chatlam-Manibugh wetlands in Pampore area.
The faculty as well as SKUAST has lauded Wani for this achievement.
