Government mulling to promote border tourism

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government has said that it is mulling to promote border tourism in the state.

In response to a question during ongoing assembly session, the government said that it has identified Teetwal, Keran, Nowshera, Suchentgarh, Rawalkot, Uri and Karnah as border tourism spots.

The state government has already submitted Rs 100 crore proposal to the Indian government and is waiting for its approval.
