Srinagar: The legislative assembly has been adjourned for an hour as the opposition parties created ruckus over the beef ban and the failure of government to rehabilitate the flood victims.
The ruckus started as soon as the Speaker Kavinder Gupta disallowed the debate on the beef ban order inviting sharp reaction from the main opposition party National Conference. NC legislators Altaf Kaloo and Abdul Majid Larni jumped into the well of the house accusing BJP-PDP coalition government of implementing the agenda of extremist Hindu outfits in the state.
“We won’t allow you to implement and execute RSS agenda here,” Kaloo shouted
Congress legislator Usman Majid and MLA Langate Engineer Rashid also joined the chorus.
Later, the Speaker Kavinder Gupta adjourned the house for an hour.
