2 Jaish militants killed in Tral: Police

Pulwama: Police claimed today to have killed two foreign militant of Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) outfit in the encounter in the restive town of Tral in this south Kashmir district.

Special Operations Group of police and army’s 42 RR on a specfic information, started a cordon and search operation in Hari Pari village of  Tral this evening, Superintendent of Police (SP) Awanripora, Irshad Ahmad told Kashmir Reader. He said when the search team zeroed in, the militants opened random fire to break the cordon.

“In the retaliatory fire, two foreign militants were killed,” Ahmad said.

He identified them as Burmi and Adil Pathan of JeM outfit.
