SRINAGAR: Ganderbal Lead Bank on Tuesday organised a mega camp at the district’s RSETI Hall.
The camp was organised for distribution of loans sanctioned by various bank branches in district Ganderbal under newly-introduced Prime Minister’s Mudra Yojna (PMMY).
Inaugurating the camp, District Development Commissioner (DDC) informed the audience about the need for banking. He asked them to approach his office with grievances pertaining to the banks.
The DDC later handed over sanctioned letters to 130 prospective borrowers.
On the occasion, the District Manager gave the audience a brief overview of the Yojna, while he advised the bankers to make the scheme successful by sanctioning loans.
District Bank Facilitator provided details of the scheme to the audience.
Representatives of various banks in the district and more than 130 prospective borrowers were present in the event.
Meanwhile, the District Lead Bank, Kupwara also organised an awareness camp under PMMY.
The camp, organised in collaboration with other banks operating in the district, was meant to inform the public about PMMY and other screeches launched recently.
The organisers also distributed sanction letters on spot among the accountholders registered under various schemes launched by the government.
