RAMNBAN: At least six persons were injured when the concrete slab of an underconstruction mosque collapsed in Sangaldan area of the Ramban districts on Sunday.
A police official said that the slab of Jamia Masjid Sangaldan collapsed immediately after it was laid.
The cause of the incident could not be immediately ascertained.
The officer said that the six injured persons were shifted to district hospital Ramban for treatment.
Three person were later shifted to Srinagar hospitals, said Chief Medical Officer Ramban Dr, Anvar Bhat. “Three others are out of danger,” he said.
