SRINAGAR: Kargil district in Ladakh has recorded a Credit Deposit ratio (CD ratio) of 31.98 per cent in the first quarter of the current fiscal.
An official handout issued here said the District Level Review Committee meeting of Kargil district was held here on Friday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and CEO of LAHDC, Kargil.
During the meeting, the Lead District Manager informed that total deposits of all banks in the district stood at Rs 847.24 crore and total advances stood at Rs 270.97 crore as on June 30, indicating a growth of 13.16% in deposits and 32% in advances over the June-2014 quarter.
The priority sector of advances stood at Rs 40.53 crore and agriculture advances at Rs 11.98 crore. The CD ratio remained at 31.98%.
