Untoo held during anti-India demonstration at city centre

Srinagar: Human rights activist and chairman of the International Forum for Justice and Human Rights (IFJHR) Mohammad Ahsan Untoo was told detained by police during an anti-India demonstration in Lal Chowk area of this capital city.

Wearing a white kurta dotted with red blood marks and holding a photograph of the three Hizb militants in his hand, Untoo appeared at the Press Colony here this afternoon and staged anti-India protest over the killing of three Hizbul Mujahideen militants in Pattan town on Sunday night, witnesses told Kashmir Reader. He was shouting pro-freedom and anti-India slogans, before a police team reached the spot and whisked him away to the nearby Kothi Bagh police station.

“Instead of killing us one by one, India should kill all Kashmiris once for all,” Untoo shouted while he was being taken away.
