Rajan calls on Governor

SRINAGAR: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor, Dr Raghuram Rajan, met the Governor N N Vohra at Raj Bhawan here.
Rajan and Vohra discussed issues relating to the state’s financial stability, an official handout issued here said.
Rajan highlighted the initiatives taken by RBI for improving banking services and the implementation of various social schemes and self employment programmes sponsored by the government of India, it said.
They also discussed the hurdles come in the way of sustained credit flows, particularly to alleviate the poor.
