Hurriyat(G) condemns ‘attack’ on Kashmiri students in Udaipur College

SRINAGAR: Hurriyat Conference (G) on Sunday expressing its deep concern and anguish over the alleged attack on Kashmiri students in Udaipur Rajasthan.
In a statement, a Hurriyat (G) spokesman criticized the state government for completely failing to stop the mistreatment and attacks on Kashmiri students studying outside the state and said that it was merely doing lip service over this issue.
Spokesman said that Kashmiris were “seen with suspicion everywhere in India and they are being harassed and punished for resisting the forced occupation of India.”
Hurriyat Conference(G) also condemned the callous approach of the Udaipur College administration for targeting the Kashmiri students instead of acting against the attackers.
“The biased role of the college administration is very sorrowful and it vindicates our stand that no place in India is safe for the Kashmiris. Harassing, insulting and abusing them is considered as service to the national cause in this country,” the spokesman said.
Hurriyat Conference termed the statement of Nayeem Akther as joke in which he had said that he would probe the attack on the Kashmiri students in Rajasthan.
“It is a way of evading the matter otherwise there has been lots of such promises in the past but nothing happened so far and this process continues,” the spokesman said.
