Srinagar: Parimoksh Seth, who filed the petition for ban on beef, is an additional advocate general in Jammu wing by Law and Justice Ministry who was appointed this year.
According to legal expert Zafar Shah, it was “professionally improper” on the part of Seth to be part of the petition against the government.
“PIL is filed when the government has failed to perform its duty as required under constitution and law. So, by filing the petition, he (Seth) is accusing his own employer of failing to do its duty. That way he has not acted properly,” Shah told Kashmir Reader.
