SRINAGAR: Minister of State for Health and Medical Education, Asiea Naqash on Sunday inaugurated Cutis Institute of Dermatology at Hyderpora here.
She called upon the doctors to provide treatment to girls who have become the victims of acid attacks thus helping them to regain their looks.
“It is sad to see patients prefer to go outside Kashmir for treatment,” she said adding that last year a victim had to go to Chennai for treatment after an acid attack. Asiea hailed the initiative taken by private hospitals here to introduce latest technology for treatment of patients.
Leading dermatology Dr Imran Majid said that the aim of setting up this institute is to provide best treatment to patients so that they don’t go outside Kashmir for treatment.
Adding that Cutis will provide facilities like New Laser for anti-aging, hair transplantation, photo therapy, and patch testing. He said that Cutis will be the first private institute in the valley which will provide fellowship to doctors.”
Others who were present on the occasion were Director Health Services, Samir Matoo, Dr G Q Allaqband and Dr Bilquees Jameela.
