Court sends Pak militant into police custody again

SOPORE: A local court on Thursday again sent the Pakistani militant, Sajad Ahmad, who reportedly surrendered before army during Rafiabad encounter last week into eight days police custody.
Sajad pleaded before Sopore Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Mehrajudin Sofi to send him into judicial custody which was rejected by the court.
On August 28, the CJM had sent Sajad Ahmad into police remand for seven days. The court will again hear the case on September 10.
