Vodafone launches ‘Double Validity’ offer

SRINAGAR: Vodafone India, one of India’s leading telecom service providers, on Thursday announced the launch of “Double Validity” offer on ‘rate-cutter packs’ for the prepaid customers.
In a statement issued here, the company said the offer will enable its customers “to talk more at attractive, affordable rates”, and an opportunity to double the validity of the product at a “nominal cost” of Rs 7.
“All our prepaid customers in J&K can avail the offer by dialing 121, through the special offers section on the Vodafone website, or by using My Vodafone app. This value offer is valid on the rate-cutter packs pre-fixed with ‘Double Validity’,” it said. The company said it sees a “great potential” in the ‘rate-cutter packs’ segment with its “1.2 million” prepaid customers in the state.
Speaking about the offer in the statement, Pushpinder Gujral, Business Head- J&K, Punjab, HP, Vodafone India, said, “Mobile telecom services in J&K are still largely voice dominated. Double validity is one more customer-centric initiative from Vodafone, conceptualised with the objective of ensuring our customers get control of how they utilise their plan and get full value for money”.
“It is a refreshing new offer that blends affordability with customer empowerment,” he said. To enhance awareness about and adoption of the offer, Vodafone said it is also launching a “high-decibel marketing campaign”.
