JKEDI holds awareness camp for commerce students

SRINAGAR: Entrepreneurship awareness cum orientation programme for a group of commerce students was held on Thursday at Pampore campus of Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI).
In a handout issued here, JKEDI said the participating students from Government Boys Higher Secondary School Jawahar Nagar were briefed about the present scenario of entrepreneurship in the state and were made aware about the institute’s various activities.
“They were introduced to the optimistic work culture of the institute and informed about the progress achieved so far in nurturing entrepreneurial culture in the state,” it said.
JKEDI said the programme was a part of its mission to foster the entrepreneurial culture for which “JKEDI is committed to provide financial as well as non-financial assistance to the educated, unemployed youth of the state”.
In the event, the faculty of Centre for Community Mobilisation and Engagement (CMAE), a programme vertical of JKEDI, made detailed presentations regarding different financial linkage schemes and projects.
