Three die, 10 injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR: Three persons have died ten others were injured in different raod accidents across Kashmir on Monday.
The accident occurred when a cab (JK05E-1920) turned turtle at the Sangri Top Watlab this morning, an official told Kashmir Reader. He said one person was killed in the accident while eight others were injured. He identified the deceased as Abdul Hameed Bhat, son of Abdur Rahid Bhat of Ashtengoo.
The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment where another person among the injured, Fayaz Ahmad Fafoo son of Habib-ul-lah resident of Astingoo, succumbed to his injuries. A spokesman said that police has registered a case in this regard.
In Baramulla, a forest vehicle bearing registration number JK01C/3700 loaded with forest wood logs turned turtle near Asha post in Gulmarg, resulting in death of the driver Mohammad Rafiq Millo son of Noor Din Millo resident of Brandoub, Rafiabad. After completing medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. Baramulla police has registered a case in this regard, a police spokesman said.
The spokesman said that in Anantnag, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03D-3608 met with an accident at K.P. Road near Alsarwat School, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Rouf Ahmad Ganie and his pillion Mohammad Shafi Wani residents of Anchidoora, Anantnag. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Anantnag police has registered a case in this regard.
