SRINAGAR: Government on Saturday claimed that it will fill up as many as 10000 posts under the newly formulated recruitment scheme.
This was announced by Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, while addressing a gathering at Ganderbal after the Independence Day celebrations.
“New recruitment policy has been formulated to fast track recruitments in government sector. Initially, around 10,000 posts will be filled up in upcoming four months,” he said.
Similar statement was given my Finance Minister, Dr Haseeb Drabu while addressing a gathering at Budgam.
He further said that improving basic facilities of the people has remained “high on the agenda of the government”.
“Rs 50 crore will be spent on the construction of District Hospital Ganderbal.The construction work on College of Physical Education is apace and will be completed on priority.”
He said that the construction work on the already identified 4000 kanals of land for Central University will be started soon. “The construction work on Trauma Hospital Kangan is nearing completion and will be inaugurated soon,” he added.
The Minister said that the Z-Morh project has already been taken up and the focus of the government is to complete it in a stipulated time frame.
